How do I use the VPN to access materials off campus?
The UVU virtual private network (VPN) allows you to connect to the university network from anywhere off campus and securely access UVU resources as if you were physically on the UVU campus network. You can find set-up instructions and contact information for help on the IT Services website.
Note: You do not have to use the VPN to get off-campus access to library resources—you can simply enter your UVID and password when prompted to log in via the library’s proxy server. If you are using the VPN while accessing library resources, be sure you connect using campusvpn.uvu.edu/full otherwise, you may receive an error message when attempting to use our databases.
